Its large 9.1 gallon chamber is constructed of .094 heavy gauge carbon steel, can handle 150 PSI maximum working pressure, and complies with OSHA and ASME specifications. Handy Air sports a 6-foot heavy-duty air hose, pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, rigid front and rear 2-leg construction. LaGrange Products’ Handy Air is hydrostatically tested at 225 PSI and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

Our welding staff is certified in every discipline, and all of our vessels are hydrostatically integrity-tested. Stainless steel is the preferred construction material for a wide variety of vessels. It contains a much higher chromium content than carbon steel, and therefore doesn’t oxidize, stain, corrode or rust as easily, and also offers better antibacterial properties. Carbon steel can rust when exposed to air and humidity, and must be finished or lined with a protective surface, such as Teflon, paint, zinc plating, epoxy, etc. Stainless steel possesses enough chromium so that it forms an invisible film of chromium oxide, which prevents surface corrosion.

Air/Oil Separators

Air/Oil Separators separate oil from compressed air in portable and industrial applications. They conserve lubricating oil, improve compressor performance, and ensure consistent air quality by reducing the oil in the compressed air system. Separators trap oil by allowing it to gather and drain to the bottom of the separator tank. There, the oil is reintroduced to the lubricating system, while allowing compressed air to pass on through to the air receiver.
